Who is it for?
Our FREE run club is open to everyone in our vibrant Brixton & surrounding SW London community. Whether you’re a family, a solo runner, a complete beginner, or someone looking for a relaxed and enjoyable way to stay active, our Adult Community Run is perfect for you.
What is Adult Community Run?
The LAB. Run Club is our weekly gathering, where we come together as neighbours and take a positive step towards a healthier lifestyle. Our run is less about speed and competition and more about connection, celebrating movement, camaraderie, and well-being. The best part? It’s open to everyone, regardless of your fitness level. Join us in embracing the joy of movement, building bonds with fellow community members, and nurturing your overall health in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
What distance do we run?
Depending on the route we choose and the pace of the group, it’s usually around 4-5km.
Where do we meet? (Start & finish point)
We start and finish at High Achievers Lab (our studio): 80 Atlantic Road, Brixton, London, SW9 8PX – Get directions
No membership required
Where do we run?
We switch up the route each week, but starting and finishing at our studio in Brixton, we’ll run around the back streets of Brixton, Clapham, Herne Hill, Tulse Hill, Stockwell, Camberwell, and in the warmer months, we will often make use of Brockwell Park when the sun’s still up.
When do we run?
Every Wednesday, join us at High Achievers Lab around 6:30-6:45 pm for a chance to get to know your fellow community members and warm up before we set off on an uplifting run at 7 pm.
What do I wear/bring with me?
Weather-appropriate running attire. Wear what you need to keep you warm (or cool) depending on the weather, a good pair of running shoes, a water bottle and sweat towel if you need one.
Do we run in wet/bad weather?
We’ve only ever had to cancel our run due to weather once, so the answer’s usually yes. A little rain never stopped nobody from running 🙂
Is there somewhere to leave my things during my run?
Yes, you can leave your belongings at our studio. We don’t have lockers or bike storage just yet, but we run a class in the studio at the same time as the run club so there will always be another team member supervising.
Leaving personal belongings is done so at your own risk and we are not responsible for your belongings, so we suggest avoiding bringing anything valuable if you’re going to leave it at the studio.
Is there somewhere I can shower or get changed before or after the run?
Yes, our studio has a shower, toilet and gender neutral changing facilities. Please bring your own sweat and shower towel if you wish to use the facilities.
Is it free?
Yes, it is completely free to participate in. We’re excited to provide this inclusive opportunity for Brixton, Herne Hill, Clapham, Stockwell, Camberwell and anyone else (if you feel like making the journey to Brixton or even if you’re just visiting London) to come together, move, and foster a sense of community.
